The Moore Girls

How cute are they? One of my favorite things about going to San Antonio was the Siesta Fiesta. Two hours of taking pictures with the Moore Girls and asking them questions. I loved watching their family dynamics. It was so moving to see the intimacy between Beth and her girls. I know that I want that with my own girls. I also know that isn't something that happens by accident. When my girls are grown I want them to still enjoy spending time with me. I need to spend more time having fun with them now. Too often I fall into the role of task master. Just something for me to work on.

San Antonio Day 2

This is how we started our second day in San Antonio. This was taken from our hotel room on the 21st floor. It was a beautiful way to wake-up after not getting enough sleep. God's promises are waiting to meet us each morning.

After the Siesta Fiesta and some lunch, we spent the afternoon at the Alamo. Cissa was even able to give Megan and Wendy a history lesson. Life is School!

Fun in San Antonio

After spending a blessed weekend with these wonderful Siestas, I decided to start my own blog. I have been reading a few blogs for months, but never thought much about doing one. These girls are beautiful in every way. It was so much fun to spend a weekend celebrating Jesus with them. We are heiresses of God.

Who needs sleep when you can chat with these ladies all night?!?!

Yes, that is Beth Moore in the middle of the picture. I am standing by her daughter Melissa. Christie Gunkle is next to Amanda.

I think I'm still trying to process all that we learned this weekend. The theme of the weekend was inheritance. The part that challenged me was we all have an assigned portion with beautiful boundaries set by the LORD. I need to stand on my lot in faith. There was so much more but I'm still trying to absorb it.
